Why a 2025 edition in Orleans ?
For this 74th edition, the Mineral Industry Congress-Exhibition is setting up shop in Orléans, at the magnificent CO’Met site.
Orléans, known for its rich historical heritage, is located in the heart of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO world heritage site, on the borders of the Orléans forest, Sologne and Beauce.
Scientifically, Orléans is also known for being the cradle of Earth sciences with the BRGM, the national geological service, whose headquarters and technical center are located on site. The theme of the Congress, “Sustainable resources for a responsible industry”, will allow us to approach the mineral industry from different angles, from the production of primary and secondary resources to their uses in many areas, such as industries well established in the region: ceramics, glassworks, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and construction.
The Congress will also deal with recycling, product recovery, protection of biodiversity and energy.
As you will have understood, all the conditions are met for this event to once again assert itself in 2025 as the major meeting of the mineral industry in France.
