The gearmotor consists of a gear reducer and an integrated electric motor. The compact design makes these drives suitable for many applications. The 1:1 compatibility of the reducers with other major brands ensures the gearmotor is a suitable replacement and makes it easy to exchange and perform maintenance worldwide. This enables customers to benefit from the advantages JIE-Euronorm offers, without ignoring the desire to be able to replace it anywhere in the world if necessary after a (long) life.
Each main group also offers a variety of implementation options. For example, all types of geared motors are provided with an outgoing flange instead of mounting feet. For JRTF, JRTK, and JRTS, both hollow and solid output shafts are possible. In addition, the gearmotors can be equipped with an IEC flange, hollow shaft with shrink disk, spline shafts, and more.
When a geared motor with a very high transmission ratio is required, the gearmotor is equipped with an additional motor gearbox. This makes ratios of over 1:10,000 possible.
In addition to the options on the gear itself, many options are also available for the electric motor. They can be equipped with several types of brakes (AC braking, DC braking, dual DC braking for stagecraft), encoders in various shapes and sizes, external cooling, PTC or thermal contact, and more, including locking or blocking devices.
